Artist Collective Zone

The Rockhampton Regional Council is excited to showcase the region’s talented homegrown artists through the creation of an Artist Collective.

A key part of this year’s Rockhampton River Festival Community Arts Program, the Artist Collective aims to highlight and celebrate the local arts community.

In a festival first, the Artist Collective will have no stallholder fees, no infrastructure costs, and no multi-day commitments to ensure accessibility and inclusivity for all participating artists.

Council is signifying their commitment to fostering a vibrant arts community and supporting the growth of emerging talent by removing these common barriers that often prevent artists from sharing their creations and gaining exposure within their community.

Where is the Artist Collective?

The Artist Collective will be located adjacent to the award-winning Rockhampton Museum of Art on Quay Street, creating an inspiring artistic environment and elevating the festival experience for both artists and attendees alike.

On Saturday of the festival you will find the below artists with their works for sale in the artist collective zone. On Sunday the artist collective will transform in to Thrift-it - A celebration of everything second hand where you can purchase pre-loved, re-purposed and upcycled goods. Bring your family's thrifty op-shop enthusiast along - they're going to love it.
