I studied Art for 3 years in NZ, acquiring a Diploma in Applied Art. During this time we were introduced to a few genres before making our final choice to 'major' in. I made several graphite drawings alluding to Hawks & Prey which is how I came up with my business name.
In the end I chose to do Ceramic Mold Making & Slip Pouring which I'm currently teaching in workshops. My art is not limited to these things though and I love to make or paint things which are a little bit funky and alluding to something else as well as create the traditional 'pristine & perfect' piece of work.
