Emma Ward is a third-generation, Rockhampton local whose Professional Art's practice and studio is based in Gracemere, Central Queensland. Emma’s Art making is centered around painting with Acrylics, and drawing using mixed media, charcoal, and graphite. Emma’s painting has an emphasis on expressing emotion and connection with living energy. Throughout her 13-year practice, Emma has explored themes such as Flora & Fauna, Portraiture and Still Life, with a desire to capture the essence of her muse in an expressive, painterly manor with the ‘feeling’ of the painting being the important objective.
