The Ironing Maidens Dance Workshops
This workshop session is a fun opportunity for participants to learn from professional dancers and have fun with electronic music beats and fresh sounds. Participants will learn fundamental dance technique and choreography from the Ironing Maidens show, Electro House Wife. Participants are welcome to join the dance at the Ironing Maidens Live Show.
Fun and energetic this workshop is an inclusive experience for people of all ages and abilities. No prior experience necessary.

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and bring their own water bottle.

About the facilitators
Nadia Milford is an interdisciplinary dance artist and performer who uses the intrinsic language of the body to promote empowerment and compassionate perspectives. Georgia Pierce is a contemporary dance performer, maker and teacher who has cultivated an artistic practice based in playfulness, exploring the tensions and potential balance between humour, sensitivity and abstractions. All facilitators have working with children checks, blue cards and relevant qualifications within their industry.
