Retail and Food Vendor Expressions Open

Rockhampton River Festival is a three-day celebration of arts, music, culture and food. Incorporating Rockhampton’s stunning Riverbank precinct, and the natural and built heritage, River Fest is Central Queensland’s largest winter festival.

Businesses, food and retail vendors who are interested being part of the 2025 festival on 25-27 July are invited to submit their expression of interest now.

This vibrant celebration which attracted over 42,000 attendees in 2024 not only showcases the region’s rich culture but also fosters community connections, allowing you to build relationships with potential customers. With a strong emphasis on sustainability and eco-friendly practices, the festival highlights local talent and promotes responsible celebration, making it a unique platform for you to showcase your offerings.

SITE FEES

There are multiple opportunities to be part of River Fest across three main precincts including Flavours of the World, The Shipyard and Market Village.

Flavours of the World  is situated on Quay Street overlooking the Tunuba Main Stage. Sites in this Precinct are reserved for food vendors who offer a menu based on flavours from around the globe. 

The Shipyard is located along the lower riverbank next to the Fitzroy Adventure Playground, with the Shipyard Stage showcasing our up-and-coming music talents. We are looking for a variety of food vendors in this area.

Market Village is located along Quay Street (between Derby and William) above The Shipyard. We encourage market vendors who sell handmade crafts, jewellery, homewares, unique and sustainable items to apply.

Please note power is not available in this zone, all market stalls requiring power must supply their own.

 

Application Process 

Applications will be assessed based on suitability to the event and the following event selection criteria:

  1. Preference will be given to applicants with product or experience that will complement and enhance the event
  2. Applicants must meet all requirements, including festival theming and supply the relevant documentation outlined in the application checklist
  3. Applicants who can bump in on time and leave their site as they found it: clean and devoid of waste

Organisers will approve applications at the end of each month and advise applicants if they have been successful in securing a site. Successful applicants will receive a trade site offer and will be required to accept the offer via email to lock in their site. Unsuccessful applications will be placed on a waiting list.
