Canadian slide guitarist Kirk Lorange has put together a four-piece band, especially for the Rockhampton River Festival. Kirk has played and recorded with many of Australia's greatest artists over the years: Richard Clapton, Marc Hunter, Glen Shorrock, Swanee, Renée Geyer and local icon Kevin Johnson, to name but a few. He called up three of his favorite players for this event: Aaron West, singer and guitarist extraordinaire; Mr Groove Greg Lyon, Australia's premier bass player, who also sings like a bird; Brendan St Leger, super-musical keyboard player. They love playing their own soulful brand of down-home. swampy, bluesy R&B. "If You Like Country With A Boogie Beat", they're the band to meet.
