Rockhampton Youth Orchestra
On Sunday, the 28th of July, the Rockhampton Youth Orchestra (RYO) and Unisong Choir will be joining forces to present a rather eclectic selection of well-known pieces of music.
From classics ballads (e.g., Blue Moon) and folk hits of the 60s, such as The Mamas and the Papas’ California Dreamin’, to popular marches (e.g., Radetzky March) and Largo, the second movement from Dvořàk’s New World Symphony, RYO and Unisong Choir hope to have you swinging, stamping, and/or singing with them.
“Swing, Stamp, and Sing: A Variety Performance” will commence at 2:00pm in the auditorium of the Walter Reid Cultural Centre.
Doors will open for seating at 1:45 pm.
